Cryptocurrency Policy
This policy explains how cryptocurrency works at Ozwin Casino: which coins we support, how funds convert to your account currency, network fees and confirmations, and the verification rules that apply. It supplements the Terms & Conditions.
Supported cryptocurrencies
We currently support deposits and withdrawals in Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH). The list of supported coins and networks may change; the cashier always shows the current options and any minimum amounts.
Conversion to account currency
Your account is held in a single fiat currency such as AUD. When you deposit crypto, the amount is converted to your account currency at the exchange rate in effect at the moment the deposit is credited. Likewise, a crypto withdrawal converts your fiat balance into the chosen coin at the prevailing rate at the time of processing. Because rates move, the amount received may differ from the amount you expected.
Network fees and confirmations
Blockchain transactions carry network (miner) fees and require a number of confirmations before they are final. These fees and confirmation times are set by the network, not by us, and can rise when the network is congested. Deposits are credited only after the required confirmations; withdrawals are broadcast once approved.
Wallet addresses are your responsibility
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any wallet address you provide. Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible: funds sent to an incorrect or incompatible address cannot be recovered by us. Always double-check the address and the network before confirming.
Verification and AML
Crypto payments are subject to the same Know Your Customer and anti-money-laundering checks as any other method. We may request identity documents and evidence of the source of funds before processing a crypto withdrawal. See the AML & KYC Policy for details.
Volatility and risk
Cryptocurrency values can be highly volatile. The value of coins you hold outside your account may change before, during or after a transaction. We are not responsible for losses arising from market movements, network delays or third-party wallet services.
Same-method principle
As a rule, withdrawals are returned via the method used to deposit. If you deposited in crypto, your withdrawal will normally be paid in crypto, subject to verification and our limits described on the Banking page.
